my family rents a lake house just off of lake travis every summer. i always have such a great time and i really look forward to going out there. it's a short walk to the water and there is a pear tree out in the yard, so what's not to love? my cousin jessica (seen in the majority of these portraits) is going to be a senior in highschool this fall. i'm thankful she is just the way she is. i am also thankful that she is always such a great and willing model for me.

and my uncle randy offered up his finger as i was shooting the tiny tomatoes from the garden. he said it was "for scale".
